Our Week in Math

This week we are continuing to learn our basic multiplication facts.  Students are now starting to grasp their 1, 2, 5, 9, and 10 fact families.  They haven't quite mastered them all, but are slowly getting there.  To make it fun, we did a QR code scavenger hunt around the room where students used an app called, Scan.  Using this app students scanned the QR code and completed the problem that came through their Ipad.  Today students made their very own QR code using the website qrstuff.com. The students will be going on another scavenger hunt tomorrow, only this time hunting for a friends QR code about multiplication.  Stay tuned!!!!

Things to help your children grasp their facts.
1. Make flashcards
2.  Have them practice on multiplication.com
3.  Verbally quiz them and see how many they can get right in a minute
