Book Baggies

I was out of the classroom on Friday, so new "Book Baggies" weren't sent home.  Since the students are off on Monday I am going to try something a little different this week with the "Book Baggies."  I am going to let the students choose a book from the classroom library on their level.  They will read the book Tuesday-Thursday and draw a picture from the story including: Characters, and a Scene from the story. Then they will write a short summary of what happened in the book.  The summary MUST have 3 sentences.  I will provide the paper, books, and directions on Tuesday.  Enjoy your day off tomorrow!
