Today students used life size number lines to practice identifying benchmark fractions. They worked in groups and were able to locate familiar locations around Millville. The number lines were cut into halves and fourths. Next week students will begin working with harder fractions. Hopefully today's activity will help them have a solid platform in understanding fractions!
